  • Antistatic inner layer to reduce electrostatic charging that occurs during the blowing of fiber optic cables (on request)
Product range overview:

Advantages:

– Impact resistant and pressure resistance at least 15 bar

– Ribbed inner coating made of silicone, which enables easy installation of the fiber optic cable

– Available in opaque colors according to the IEC 60304 standard

– Signal wire (on request)

– Antistatic interior layer that can reduce electrostatic charge accumulated during the blowing of the optical fiber (upon request).

This is a product from the TeraPlast portfolio, manufactured by extrusion from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) according to IEC 60694. The outer surface of the microtube is smooth, while the inner surface has a ribbed silicone lining that facilitates easy installation of the fiber optic cable. TeraDuct One is designed for impact resistance and the insertion of fiber optic cables. This product can be used in TeraDuct Line or TeraDuct Mix packages.
  • Telecommunication networks
  • FTTH (Fiber to the Home – fiber optic cable to every household)
  • Smart cities
  • Airports
  • 5G networks
  • Data centers

Underground installation (DB)

In applications where TeraDuct microducts are buried or used in combination configurations (TeraDuct Mix), it is recommended to use a microduct with thicker walls to maintain optimal filling ratios and to enable faster and easier installation.

Direct Installation (DI)

In applications where TeraDuct One or TeraDuct Mix is to be installed in an existing pipe, it is recommended to use a product with thinner walls, while still ensuring protection through the existing pipe.
